Volunteers play an essential role in our nonprofit organization. UFH relies heavily on community members to donate their time and skills. This keeps our costs low, but more importantly, volunteers enrich our programs with a variety of experiences and make us culturally diverse.

Through United for Health's ongoing partnership and collaboration with University of California student organizations, Cal Corps, the Association of Students at U.C. Berkeley, the UC/UCSF Joint Medical Program, and Berkeley Student Cooperatives, our staff has treated, trained, supervised, and mentored hundreds of students and volunteers who play a vital role at our program sites.
